Oakland Army Base Project Partners

With funding commitments from the City of Oakland and major grants from the Federal Government, as well as the Transportation Commissions of the State of California and Alameda County, the City and the Port of Oakland leveraged substantial private investment to transform approximately 300 acres of the former Oakland Army Base into a modern logistics and mixed-use center.

This large-scale redevelopment provides significant public and private benefits, including new infrastructure, job creation, fiscal returns, and reduced congestion on local streets and regional highways.
