About the Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC): The PAAC is a nine-member advisory body to the City Council on programs and projects related to public art in Oakland. They meet on the first Monday of every month from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at City Hall.

The Public Art Advisory Committee works with City staff to develop Oakland's Public Art Program and keep it running smoothly. The committee advises the City Administrator, Cultural Affairs Commission, Mayor, and City Council on matters pertaining to public art in Oakland. Members are appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council.
