September 19, 2026

This citywide day of environmental volunteerism celebrates community action, and we’re looking for passionate individuals, groups, and organizations to participate. No matter where you're participating, you are helping to protect our creeks, coast and ocean. If you're interested in hosting a site, please complete our Creek to Bay Day Site Registration by August 14th.

In partnership with the California Coastal Commission, Oakland Public Works' Environmental Stewardship Team is celebrating Oakland's 31st Annual Creek to Bay Day. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the California Coastal Act, the landmark law that has protected our coastline and waterways for half a century. Join us at Creek to Bay Day to celebrate this milestone and kick off the next 50 years of protection.
