Truck Routes and Prohibited Streets

In Oakland, the California Vehicle Code and the Oakland Municipal Code prohibit commercial vehicles and designate specific routes for their travel.

Oversized vehicles are permitted on Oakland streets as regulated by the Traffic Section of the Oakland Police Department.
