Fire inspectors conduct field inspections in accordance with fire safety regulations found in the California Fire Code (Fire Code), the California Health and Safety Code and the local amendments to the Fire Code, as provided in Chapter 15.12 of the Oakland Municipal Code.

OFD-FPB has released the revised intake form for New Construction/Tenant Improvement Inspections which can be found in DOCUMENTS above.
OFD-FPB will receive/process the newly revised AND former intake forms until July 31, 2024. Starting August 1, 2024, OFD-FPB will ONLY receive/process the newly revised intake form.
