1911 Telegraph Avenue Parcel

The City of Oakland owns a 1.04-acre parcel of vacant land located at 1911 Telegraph Avenue, previously referred to as "Uptown Parcel 4."

19th Street BART to Lake Merritt Urban Greenway (1003211)

The streetscape project on Thomas L. Berkley Way (20th Street) from Broadway to Harrison Street will close a last mile gap between the 19th Street BART station and Lake Merritt through the construction of improvements focused on enhancements and amenities for pedestrians and bicyclists.

2019 Traffic Safety Improvements Near Garfield Elementary School

In the wake of a tragic vehicle crash on Oct. 1, 2019 that left a woman dead and a child badly injured as they were walking across the street outside Garfield Elementary School, OakDOT activated a rapid-response approach to work with the school, City leadership, and the surrounding community to design and implement additional safety measures as swiftly as possible.

A new multi-year paving plan to guide investments for Oakland's streets, adopted December 21, 2021.

40th Street / MacArthur BART Bikeways

Bikeways within two miles of the MacArthur BART station improve east-west bicycle access between MacArthur BART, the Piedmont Ave neighborhood, Kaiser Hospital and Emeryville, and connect to the bicycle and pedestrian path across the eastern span of the San Francisco Bay Bridge.

460 24th St. (Pigozzi Project)

5-Year Impact Fee Review and Update Reports

The Mitigation Fee Act (Government Code Sections 66000 – 66025) requires a local agency to conduct an analysis and make findings every five years for each impact fee that the agency imposes on development projects.

500 Kirkham Street Mixed-Use Development Project

A mixed-use development with 1,032 residential units, including 85 affordable units, and nearly 35,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and commercial space. The project is planned in three phases, and is located one block east of the West Oakland BART Station.
