Volunteer at a Garden

Volunteering with the City of Oakland Community Gardening program is a great way to get involved with your community and meet people.

There are five regularly scheduled volunteer days every month occurring on Saturdays & Sundays. Simply show up and lend a hand if you would like. There will be someone on each of these days to sign off on service hours.

Lakeside Park Garden
666 Bellevue Avenue
4th Saturday at 9:00 am

We welcome larger groups of volunteers too. Contact the program coordinator to schedule your volunteering event. The program coordinator will help choose a project, teach your volunteers, and more.
