Sidewalk Assistance Program

The Sidewalk Assistance Program will perform sidewalk repairs at no cost to qualifying low-income, owner-occupied properties, subject to available funding. To receive this waiver, a property owner must present proof of participation in any of the following means-tested programs:

  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
  • Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
  • CalFresh/SNAP (Food Stamps)
  • Head Start Income Eligible (Tribal Only)
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Medi-Cal for Families (Healthy Families A&B)
  • National School lunch Program (NSLP)
  • Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
  • Medicaid/Medi-CAL
  • PG&E CARE
