The City of Oakland seeks to to gather recommendations and ideas from partners that can bring high-speed, affordable Internet service directly into under and unconnected residential homes and local businesses, and accelerate the adoption of digital skills in communities and neighborhoods that have historically lacked reliable and accessible broadband access.

Services Offered The Wellness Unit offers 24/7 assistance to OPD officers, civilian and retired employees, and their families on building resiliency, emotional well-being, alcohol, and substance use intervention, mental health services, peer support, and more. Our resources are for both personal and job-related stress.
