Oakland’s Project Homeless Connect 2018

Oakland, CA – On Monday April, 2, 2018 between 11am – 3pm, the City of Oakland’s Human Service Department will be hosting its Annual Project Homeless Connect, taking place at the Saint Vincent de Paul Community Center located at 2272 San Pablo Ave., Oakland. Project Homeless Connect is an eclectic, holistic, and free event where providers and community organizations offer direct access to information, resources and support in a variety of areas for those who are experiencing homelessness in the city of Oakland. The assortment of service opportunities includes but is not limited to substance use treatment, healthcare including Hep C/HIV testing, ACA enrollment, pet care referrals, harm reduction, job preparedness, legal aid, benefits advocacy, Social Service Agency applications (GA/CalFresh), the Oakland Library, and hairdresser/barbering services.

A free lunch and gift bag will be provided to all participants, while supplies last.
