Event Details

Bulky Block Parties are held on the 4th Saturday of the month, January through October, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at 7101 Edgewater Drive. Oakland residents may drop off items that don't fit in their trash cart at home—for free!

This service is open to Oakland residents only – proof of Oakland residency such as a household bill will be required. Commercial customers will be redirected from these events – they may pay to dispose of large trash loads nearby at the Waste Management Davis Street Transfer Station, located at 2615 Davis Street in San Leandro.

Additionally, Oakland Public Works will be limiting the type of rental vehicles allowed at the event. Personal vehicles and rental moving vehicles like trucks and vans up to a length of 10’ are still permitted. Rental moving trucks over 10’ will be redirected to the Davis Street Transfer Station.
