OPD Makes Arrests in Early Morning Burglary/Robbery Spree

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is investigating a series of commercial burglaries and robberies that occurred just after 4:45 a.m. on April 24, 2025, at multiple locations throughout the City of Oakland.

The incidents occurred at the following locations:

  • 3500 block of Grand Avenue
  • 3300 block of Park Boulevard
  • 700 block of Market Street
  • 4100 block of Redwood Road
  • 600 block of High Street
  • 2400 block of MacArthur Boulevard

When officers arrived, they learned that multiple suspects used vehicles to force entry into several businesses. Once inside, the suspects burglarized or robbed the establishments before leaving the area in their vehicles.

OPD was able to track down the vehicles involved in this morning’s crime series, thanks to officers assigned to our Special Resource Section (SRS) East and in coordination with our Real-Time Operations Center, utilizing technology, witness accounts, and community support.

Patrol officers citywide were able to respond, and four suspects (three Male Adults and one Female Adult) were arrested in the 3400 block of Wood Street. At the scene of the arrests, officers recovered property believed to have been stolen from the crime spree.

This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information should contact the OPD Burglary Section at (510) 238-3951. Additionally, if you have any videos or photos that could assist with the investigation, please send them to cidvideos@oaklandca.gov.
