PG&E has warned that a public safety power shutoff (PSPS) may occur in the region to prevent wildfires during severe weather conditions, potentially from late Wednesday 10/14 through Saturday 10/17. The shutoff area could include parts of the Oakland hills, currently listed on PG&E's map for shutoff at 5:15AM on Thursday 10/15.
Special MeetingWith the assistance of the City Administrator's Office, the Selection Panel will determine how to solicit candidates and appoint members to the Police Commission. The slate of Police Commissioners must have a two-thirds vote and be submitted to the City Council to accept or reject.
