PG&E has warned that a public safety power shutoff (PSPS) may occur in the region to prevent wildfires during severe weather conditions, potentially from late Wednesday 10/14 through Saturday 10/17. The shutoff area could include parts of the Oakland hills, currently listed on PG&E's map for shutoff at 5:15AM on Thursday 10/15.
The Mayor’s Commission on Aging will convene to review ongoing initiatives, discuss new and continuing business, receive updates from City departments, and hear public comment related to issues impacting older adults in Oakland.
