OPD Arrests Suspect in East Oakland Drug Investigation

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is investigating an illegal drug sale that occurred on August 17, 2025, in East Oakland. 

During the investigation, Patrol Officers saw an individual suspected of selling drugs. Officers contacted the suspect and recovered cash, a significant quantity of narcotics, including marijuana, suspected crystal methamphetamine, and MDMA “ecstasy.”  

Officers arrested the individual on multiple charges, and the case will be turned over to the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office for review. 

This arrest highlights OPD’s commitment to keeping our neighborhoods safe.
