Bay Area Students Tour Oakland Police Air Unit

Members of the Oakland Police Department (OPD) Air Support Unit (ARGUS) had the pleasure to speak with the next generation of aviators. Last week students from the Aerospace Career Education (ACE) Academy visited the unit to learn about aviation and the vital role it plays in OPD operations.

This group of middle and high school students toured ARGUS and spoke with the officers about their experiences as ARGUS pilots, gaining firsthand insight into careers in law enforcement and aviation.
