Site and Project Introduction 

Verdese Carter Park (VCP) is an existing 3.49-acre park in east Oakland, owned and managed by the City of Oakland. Well-used and well-loved by the Oakland community, this park serves an estimated 9,000 residents within a 10-minute walk from the site. The Oakland Police Activities League (PAL) operates out of Verdese Carter Park and is established within the community, providing years of programming and activities. 

Park Features to Add or Renovate

  • New Painting Interior and Exterior

  • Upgrading floor finish

  • Replace Exterior Doors and Windows

  • Refinish Interior Doors 

  • Replace Carpet
