Civil Service Board

The Civil Service Board is responsible for enforcing the Civil Service Rules, approving the exemption of classifications from the competitive process, and approving classification specifications, including the creation of new classifications and revisions to existing ones. The Board also serves as an appellate body for employees who wish to challenge employment-related decisions.
