Mayor Barbara Lee will release the City of Oakland’s FY 2026–27 Midcycle Proposed Budget on May 15, kicking off a citywide conversation with residents about how the proposal aims to address community needs while maintaining long‑term fiscal stability.

The Mid‑Cycle Budget provides updated projections, adjustments and recommendations for the upcoming fiscal period.

Join an upcoming Budget Workshop to:
• Learn how the City's budget works directly from City leadership
• Understand key priorities and investments
• Ask questions about the process and share feedback

Councilmembers JenkinsWang  and Ramachandran  will co-host Community Budget Education Presentations at the following dates, times and locations.
