In celebration of June Pride Month, Oakland Councilmember At-Large Rowena Brown is excited to partner with District 2 Councilmember Charlene Wang, the Oakland LGBTQ Community Center, and K. Stewart Foundation to host an LGBTQ+ Job Fair focused on creating inclusive pathways to employment and community resources for LGBTQ+ job seekers.

Location: Downtown Senior Center, 200 Grand Ave Oakland, CA

Event Purpose:

Connect directly with community members, share employment opportunities and resources, and support an affirming and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ job seekers. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where LGBTQ+ individuals can explore opportunities, ask questions, build connections, and gain valuable skills and support.

In addition to employers, the fair will include organizations offering services such as interview preparation, resume support, career guidance, and other workforce development resources.
