Habitat Restoration at King Estate Open Space

Join the Oakland Fire Department and the Oak Knoll Neighborhood Improvement Association (OKNIA.org) at King Estate Open Space for Earth Day! Help us preserve this beautiful park, remove invasive species that crowd out native plants, and increase wildfire resilience.

Lunch will be served at 11:00 to all volunteers!

All are welcome! Sign up at tinyurl.com/KEOSEarthDay Tools and work gloves will be provided but please bring your own if you have them (mattock picks, loppers, shears, or pruners). Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Bring extra layers, sun protection, and a water bottle.
