The Market Streetscape Improvements project will construct upgraded bike lanes, pedestrian safety improvements, repave the road, and improves traffic signals between 3rd Street and 7th Street. These improvements will connect to a future protected bike connection on 7th Street and the existing bike lanes on 3rd Street. By better separating bicyclists with protected bike lanes on Market Street, bike and truck conflicts will be reduced.
