About the PAAC: The PAAC is a nine-member advisory body to the City Council on programs and projects related to public art in Oakland. They meet on the first Monday of every month from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at City Hall.

The committee advises the City Administrator, Mayor, and City Council on all matters pertaining to public art in Oakland. The Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC) is a subcommittee of the Cultural Affairs Commission. The Advisory Committee works with City staff to develop Oakland's public art program and keep it running smoothly. Members are appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council.
