Clicking above takes you to a new site to report and map your at home and in the community water conservation and protection actions.

Now volunteers can map their cleanups and report bag pickup needs simultaneously.

You'll also find education resources and be able to request resources to support volunteerism and home-based environmental action.

Volunteers who take a pledge and report their actions will receive a Oakland Creek to Bay Day bandana while supplies last.

2020 marks the 25th anniversary of Oakland Creek to Bay Day, held in conjunction with California and International Coastal Cleanup Day, typically the largest organized volunteer day in California and the world. In a typical year, on the third Saturday in September thousands of volunteers remove litter from waterways and shorelines, as well as upstream areas across California, the nation, and in about 100 participating countries.

Although COVID-19 prevents us from gathering in groups like on other Creek to Bay/California/International Coastal Cleanup events, individuals and households can still be a part of this 25th anniversary event by pitching in to clean up, as well as pledging and committing to actions from our homes to protect watersheds.

Join us for a Creek to Bay month of watershed cleanup, education, and commitment to practices to keep our city and water clean, from creek to bay every day in September and beyond!
