CORE Program Trainee & Volunteer Liaison

Primary Assignment Focus: Promote the CORE program, CERT Training and emergency preparedness in general. Support active CORE Program volunteers by conducting CERT member check-in's, conduct follow up calls for waitlisted trainees, status check's for current trainees, and provide guidance and information regarding additional, recommended training.
Disaster Assignment Focus: Support neighborhood resilience/communications hubs as needed.

Emergency Respite Center Support Staff

In the event of a wildfire or an emergency situation, law enforcement and fire agencies issue evacuation warnings or evacuation orders for impacted areas. Since catastrophic events have the potential to leave people without shelter, CERT members are encouraged to register for additional training on how to support with setting up an emergency respite center or shelter if needed, in advance.
