Please Note: With the closure of City of Oakland offices, you can still pay your Parking Tickets on-line and the accrual of penalties is being suspended for 60 days from Monday March 23, 2020 to Thursday May 21, 2020. Pay a parking ticket online, by phone, by mail or in person. Please pay on time to avoid late fees and other penalties.

We accept credit or debit card, check, money order and cash. We are open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

How long do I have to pay?

21 days from the issue date. The issue date is the date written on the ticket; it is not the date that you saw the ticket.

What else can I do?

You can challenge (contest) a ticket within 21 days of the issue date. Do not pay if you want to challenge.

What happens if I don't pay my ticket?

Failure to pay or challenge a ticket can lead to more fines. Your car may also get booted or towed. You will not be able to re-register your car until all tickets and fees are paid.
