SECURITY GRANT FUNDING:
In 2022 the Special Activity Permits Division made applications available for a limited time for grants of up to $50,000 available for provisionally licensed cannabis operators to address security requirements. This program is funded by the Local Jurisdiction Assistance Grant.
As funding remains available, for the remainder of 2023 the Special Activity Permits Division is making available applications for security grants on a rolling basis.
The use of funds is for physical and technological security measures for places of business; private security guards are not an eligible use of funds given the limited amount of funds available.
