Oakland Seeks Public Feedback on 2019 California Building Codes

The Building Bureau of the City of Oakland's Planning and Building Department is preparing to adopt the 2019 California Building Code, which is scheduled to become effective on January 1, 2020. The Bureau welcomes feedback from any stakeholder on these new codes.

The Building Bureau of the City of Oakland's Planning and Building Department is preparing to adopt the 2019 California Building Code, which is scheduled to become effective on January 1, 2020. To review these state codes, please visit:

The Bureau welcomes feedback from any stakeholder on these new codes, particularly on any possible amendments that might be unique to the City of Oakland.
