Engage in a community discussion led by Oakland’s filmmaker Cheryl Fabio as she leads a focus on Dr. King’s open letter to his critics—White clergymen—who disagreed with the nonviolent resistance tactics employed by African Americans who sought to make change in Alabama. King was arrested 58 years ago in April 1963. His letter was published a few weeks later in June 1963.
