Homicide Investigation in the 10400 block of Nattress Way

On November 9, 2020, at approximately 5:01 PM the Communications Division received reports of a shooting in the 10400 block of Nattress Way.

On November 9, 2020, at approximately 5:01 PM the Communications Division received reports of a shooting in the 10400 block of Nattress Way. Officers responded to the scene and located a male adult victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Oakland Fire Department personnel and Falck ambulance crew responded to the scene and provided medical treatment. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injury on the scene and was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and began the follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the apparent shooting. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
