Homicide Investigation in the 10300 block of MacArthur Boulevard

On, January 18, 2021, at about 2:11 PM, Oakland Police Officers were dispatched to the 10300 block of MacArthur Boulevard to investigate a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located one male adult (non-Oakland resident) suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s).

On, January 18, 2021, at about 2:11 PM, Oakland Police Officers were dispatched to the 10300 block of MacArthur Boulevard to investigate a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located one male adult (non-Oakland resident) suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s). Oakland Fire Department personnel and Falck ambulance crew were additionally on the scene and provided medical treatment. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries.

Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and began the follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the apparent homicide. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to next of kin. Anyone with information can contact the Homicide Section at (510) 238-3821 or the TIP LINE at 238-7950.
