Arrest Made in September 2023 Homicide Case

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) has arrested Terri Perry of Oakland, in connection with the homicide of Alphonso Clark, which occurred on September 10, 2023, in the 1700 block of 11th Street.

Thanks to the tireless and collaborative efforts of OPD Homicide Investigators, the Violent Crime Operations Center, and the US Marshals, Perry was safely taken into custody on September 27, 2023.

 The Alameda County District Attorney's Office has filed charges against Perry for his involvement in the crime.

Background:  

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is investigating a homicide that occurred on September 10, 2023, just after 6:00 PM in the 1700 block of 11th Street. When officers arrived, they located a victim who sustained a gunshot wound(s). Medical personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased on scene.

Investigators from the OPD Homicide Section responded to the scene to conduct a follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
