Tanya is an experienced corporate attorney with a penchant for driving change and building consensus. Currently, she serves as an Associate General Counsel for Impact Investments at Mission Driven Finance, LLC, where she focuses on structuring and executing capital strategies to expand economic opportunities in underserved communities.
Previously, Tanya held in-house roles at technology companies in the Bay Area, where she advised on corporate governance, securities reporting, compliance, and commercial matters. Early in her legal career, she represented major banking institutions and corporate borrowers in financing transactions at law firms in New York and Chicago.
Tanya is also committed to community engagement and pro bono work. While practicing at law firms, she represented clients on issues ranging from family law to consumer protection. She supported impact investment initiatives during an externship with the non-profit Acumen in New York and is currently a volunteer mediator with Community Boards in San Francisco.
Tanya holds a BS in Finance from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School. She lives with her family in Claremont Hills.
