Council Member Aide

Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She previously worked to empower Oakland youth and promote public health as an outdoor educator for Oakland Unified School District and Friends of Sausal Creek. Her work has included integrating experiential garden education into public education and coordinating park restoration workdays.

Rebecca was born and raised in Paradise, California where she currently is co-leading the Anti-Racist Teaching and Social Justice movement. You may find her on the weekends hiking along Oakland's beautiful trails with her dog, Lola.
