Battle For The Bay/Creek to Bay Day

Volunteers of all ages and abilities are invited to Battle for the Bay/Creek to Bay Day! This year the mayors and cities of Oakland and San Francisco have challenged each other to a friendly competition for the biggest, best, and most impactful cleanup. Projects include trash removal, habitat restoration, tree planting, and beautification. All tools are provided. Turn the tide on trash and dumping and keep our cities and Bay clean, healthy, and beautiful!


Battle for the Bay coincides with the 24th annual Oakland Creek to Bay Day is part of California and International Coastal Cleanup Day, the largest volunteer day in California and the world! On this day, thousands of volunteers remove litter from waterways and shorelines, as well as upstream areas across California, the nation, and in about 100 participating countries.
