Kamika Dunlap

Kamika has 20+ years in journalism, government, electoral, and philanthropic communications centering the experience and expertise of communities most impacted by systemic injustice. Her policy background includes supporting the creation of Alameda County’s first in the nation ordinance to require pharmaceutical companies to fund the collection and disposal of unused medications from the public. Kamika earned a Bachelors of Arts & Science in Sociology from Syracuse University and a Masters of Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, Graduate School of Journalism.
