Over her 20 years of solid administration background — including computer and accounting experience — Diana has developed and implemented user-friendly computer systems and handled various employee programs that perform a variety of accounting functions. Shehas been with the City of Oakland for 12+ years and she is an Accela specialist and can maximize the program to benefit both the City of Oakland and our customers. Diana has recently transitioned into the role of Administrative Services Manager II and Permit Center Supervisor with the Planning and Building Department. Her responsibilities will be providing general supervision to Permit Center and all counter staff and promoting a culture of excellent customer service. Diana provides support for issuance of all types of permits, including processing and data entry, fee collection, and records research related to permits. She will also work to develop new processes and procedure to ensure uniformity in information dissemination and response to customer issues at all department counters.
