Senior Centers

Four senior centers are located throughout the City of Oakland and managed by the City’s Human Services Department - Aging & Adult Services Divison. Senior centers provide social, recreational, nutritional and educational activities to older adults in our community.

Senior Centers Reopening Phase 1

Reopening Phase 1
We will continue to open our facilities incrementally, under guidelines provided by local and State government agencies. We will be inviting small groups of members into the facilities to register. Members will receive a phone call and/or email with general information including directions to set up an appointment.

Visiting Guidelines
Prior to facility entry, members will be required to answer a COVID-19 Safety Questionnaire, have their temperature taken, and maintain mask wearing at all times while in the building.

~ In-person programs or activities
~ Computer labs, game/pool room, outdoor spaces, and other lounge/program areas for center supported activities
~ Private facilities usage/rentals
