Alameda County Green Business Program

The Alameda County Green Business Program can certify a business that can show that they practice water and energy conservation and pollution prevention. Certified Green Businesses can use the highly recognizable logo when they advertise their business. and they network with other Certified Green Businesses.

The City of Oakland, along with PG&E, the City of Berkeley, and Alameda County and Contra Costa County are working together at East Bay Energy Watch (EBEW) to reduce energy use by giving people information about energy efficiency and installing energy efficient equipment to eligible PG&E customers.
