Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission Meeting Minutes for June 9, 2021

This meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission (PRAC) was held on June 9, 2021 at 4:30pm

Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission heard the following items on June 9, 2021:

(1) The Peralta Hacienda Historic Park Master Plan Update and Phase 4b Project, (2) A request to rename the segment of Joaquin Miller Park known as Castle Canyon to Richard L Spees Canyon and approval for the installation of a bench and plaque memorializing the name change, (3) A request for the installation of a bust of Huey P. Newton within the publicly owned open space in the center of Mandela Parkway and Huey P. Newton Way (formerly 9th street) and (4) Measure Q Updates.
