The following is a summary of the subjects discussed at the December 11, 2019 meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission:

Organizers of the Oakland Running Festival sought approval to host the 11th Annual Oakland Running Festival Marathon at Snow Park on Sunday, March 22, 2020. Family of the late William Lee “Bill” Grimm requested permission to dedicate a bench and plaque in his memory. The Peralta Parent Teacher Group sought permission to host the Spring Auction Fundraiser for Peralta Elementary School on Saturday, March 21, 2020.
