Revolutionizing our Economy Workshop presented by Real People’s Fund

Join the REAL People’s Fund for a panel conversation sharing our vision for what it takes to build an economic future for Oakland rooted in power, prosperity, joy and liberation for small businesses of color. RPF is a $10M community loan fund and entrepreneurship program in Oakland. This conversation will feature the core visionaries of our democratically-governed fund. We will discuss the following topics: our role in a JUST transition - a framework for how we practice building economic and political power to shift from an extractive economy to a regenerative economy. We will also speak to our trust and character based-approach to lending; support for entrepreneurs to access capital and grow their business and impact; and how we organize small business power with relationships at the center of it all.
