Oakland Carnival is an annual celebration of health, wealth, and community engagement that brings together residents from all over the city. Malonga Arts Residents Association (MARA) is supporting SambaFunk! and several other organizations to support the annual Oakland Carnival curated by MARA resident King Theo A. Williams. Partners from the Deeply Rooted Collaborative will be on hand conducting surveys and sharing information on the City of Oakland General Plan.
