World Refugee & Immigrant Day celebrates refugee & immigrant communities in the East Bay, in accordance with the UNHCR's World Refugee Day. This day highlights the challenges face by refugees worldwide due to war, persecution, ethnic cleansing and natural disasters.

There will be art, live music, children's activities, and free food!. This event is free and open to public.

Deeply Rooted Collaborative will set up a booth at the event to connect with people to the Environmental Justice and Safety elements (chapters) from the Oakland General Plan 2045.
