Chinese/English Application Workshop for Facade/Tenant Improvement Grants

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU (to submit an application):

1. Active City of Oakland Business License. If you don’t have a current license, you can renew or apply for a new one online.

2. Commercial lease with at least three years left on it

Attend a grant application workshop for City of Oakland's Façade and Tenant Improvement Program (FTIP) in January to receive assistance filling out the online grant application, get questions answered and learn about the grant program and application process! City of Oakland Business Development staff is partnering with The Unity Council, Latino Chamber, Alameda County Latina Chamber, Black Cultural Zone, Chinatown Chamber and Council District offices to hold hands-on free application workshops in multiple languages open to all:

Workshop in Spanish and English | Tuesday, January 10th, 4-8pm | Fruitvale Senior Center | 3301 E. 12th Street, Ste 201

Workshop in Chinese and English | Thursday, January 19th, 2-3:30pm | Oakland Public Library - Asian Branch | 388 Ninth Street, Suite 190

Applications for the City of Oakland’s expanded and updated Façade and Tenant Improvement Program (FTIP) are open now through January 31, 2023 for grants of up to $75,000 to improve the exterior and/or interior of your business.
