2024 Labor Law & Health Code Updates

This workshop will provide our attendees with an update of 2024 laws that came into effect impacting small business owners, including minimum wage, sick leave, reproductive loss leave, hiring discrimination laws, workplace discrimination, ADA requirements. In addition, an expert will discuss food handling, display, and storage safety and sanitation requirements for obtaining a Green or passing placard from Alameda County Health Department.

After this workshop, attendees will:

• Be informed about new laws impacting their business to avoid potential lawsuits.
• Understand what they need to do at their food establishment to obtain a Green placard for their business
• Know what to do to be ADA compliant for their business to avoid penalties.
