Tiffany Kang

Communications Specialist & Community Liaison

Tiffany is a daughter of working-class islander immigrants, organizer and artist. Before joining Council President Bas's team, she supported movements in Oakland, Richmond, and Alameda County for criminal justice reform, food security, and equitable K-12 public schools. She received her BA in English / Creative Writing and minors in Music and Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. She receives her Master of City Planning from UC Berkeley in May 2021, concentrating in Housing, Community and Economic Development.
