Non-owner occupant buyers of properties that have a default or foreclosure history must register this property. After registration, the buyer must schedule an inspection done by the City. This inspection assesses whether the property conditions meet the local building or housing codes. If the property violates any City codes, the inspector will work with the new owner to develop a plan to correct the violations.
