It’s Time to Vote! Election Day is Tuesday, March 5, 2024
The City of Oakland's March 2024 Election will be a special election specifically to elect a City Auditor.
All registered voters will be sent a ballot in the mail. Didn’t receive a ballot in the mail? You can visit an early voting site to pick one up. Early voting sites are open from 9 am to 5 pm through Monday, March 4, and 7 am to 8 pm on Election Day.
Not registered to vote? No problem! Eligible California voters can complete the Same Day Voter Registration process. Click here for more information.
There are 3 ways to vote:
1. Mail your ballot. Must be postmarked on or before 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8. No postage required.
2. Drop your completed ballot in a 24-hour ballot drop box. Click here to find a drop box near you.
3. In person.
There are 26 locations in Oakland where you can drop off your ballot or vote early.

On Election Day, Voting Centers are open from 7 am to 8 pm.
