Taxi Up & Go Program (TUGO)

The Taxi up and Go program (TUGO) provides taxi transportation assistance to Senior residents of Oakland, age 60+, in the form of taxi vouchers as a supplement to existing transportation resources.

To qualify for this program, applicants may earn income up to $19,844.00 per year, and must be able to board/exit a taxi independently.

If you are interested in applying for TUGO vouchers, please call the TUGO program at 510-238-3080, to request an application by mail, or to make an appointment to complete an application over the phone. Applicants will be required to provide proof of income to complete the application process. Please return completed application with proof of income to:
